Kaari 100 is an elegant and expressive shelf by Artek. The shelf is part of the new collection of furniture by Kaari Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. With the Kaari series they wanted to create a new furniture collection which represents something new without breaking with the traditional Artek products. The central part of the collection is the innovative Kaari wooden frame, originally conceived as a table leg, which is supported by curved black steel sheets. This element can also be integrated into racks. The shelves are in this frame and bring the shelf an easy and aesthetic look. The shelves are made of black glossy melamine and the frame is natural oak. The airy shelf can be combined with any other Kaari furniture and together in a room they form a beautiful silhouette and give the room structure. Kaari in Finnish means arc.
