Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison (born 1959) is an English designer, who was born in London, but grew up in New York. He holds a bachelor in design at Kingston Polytechnic Design School in London and has a master's degree from the Royal College of Art in London. He also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. Jasper Morrison opened his studio for design Jasper Morrison Ltd. in 1986, which is today based in London and Paris. Its customers include well-known companies, for e.g. Alessi, Alias Design Group, Cappellini, Flos, Franz Schneider Brakel (FSB), Magis, Nikari, Rosenthal, Rowenta and Vitra. Minimalistic simplicity, but elegance at the same time, are typical features of Morrison's creative style. Jasper Morrison was honored with many prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award, the Design Plus Award and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.
