The light of the 3/2 Pendant from Louis Poulsen on the fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective threeshade system which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is glossy on the top and sandblasted matt on the inside, giving a soft and diffuse light distribution.
It was designed in 1925/26 by Poul Henningsen for the Forum exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark. PH 3/2 pendant with its Nordic touch is based on the logarithmic spiral, Poul Henningsen created in order to ensure the even distribution of light and a diffuse reflection. PH 3/2 pendant is an ideal lamp above a dining table or kitchen counter reflecting the light and charm of Scandinavia.
