Louis Poulsen PH 2/1 Table Lamp

PH 2/1 table lamp in Skandinavian design belongs to the Louis Poulsen PH 3-lighting family. It was designed in 1925/26 by Poul Henningsen for the Forum exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark. The PH 2/1 table lamp with mouth-blown opal three-layer glass shade which is glossy on top and sandblasted matt on the underside. The lamp provides gentle and glare-free lighting, mainly downwards. PH 2/1 table lamp with Nordic touch is based on the logarithmic spiral, Poul Henningsen created in order to ensure the even distribution of light and a diffuse reflection. A version in high lustre chrome is also available.
