Alfredo Häberli

Alfredo Häberli (born 1964 in Buenos Aires in Argentina) is an internationally recognized designer and architect, who lives in Zurich.The design pieces by Alfredo Häberli are elegant, but also practical and functional. His prestigious customer portfolio includes for e.g. Alias, BD Barcelona, Camper, Georg Jensen, Kvadrat, Luceplan, Moroso, Vitra and Schiffini. He designed the drinking glass series Essence, Senta and the dinner service Origo for the Finnish company Iittala. For the wooden manufacture Nikari Oy he designed furniture. Alfredo Häberli has received many awards, among others , the Excellent Swedish Design Award in 2001 or the Japanese price Zakka of the Year. A & W magazine named him Designer of the Year in 2009.
