Staffan Holm

The Swedish designer Staffan Holm (born 1977) is fascinated by poetic power of craftsmanship, but at the same time by the modern technology. In his focus is the issue, how the objects and furniture affect us emotionally. Staffan Holm first learned carpentry and studied design at HDK University in Gothenburg. He worked six years as a carpenter and runs his own design studio in Göteborg since 2006. He designs for Swedese or HEM furniture company. Staffan Holm has received many awards for his work , e.g. the Nordic Design Prize in 2009.
