Anna Saarinen

Anna Saarinen's roots derive from the Nordic design. Anna Saarinen from Finland is a graduate engineer specialising in textiles who came to weaving by detour. After her children grew up, she realized her dream as a creative and independent artist and designer and now produces textiles. Her woven rugs are breaking out from established patterns without betraying this tradition. Her unique rugs and mohair blankets are lovingly hand woven in Anna Saarinen's studio at Neumarkt in Zurich, in our Helsinki Design shop in Zurich and in Finland. The rugs are available in endless colour combinations.
