Esa Vesmanen

Esa Vesmanen (born 1965) is a Finnish interior architect and product designer. His studio creates interactive exhibition designs, public interiors, products, furniture and public sculptures that prompt immersive experiences. He is fascinated by the subtle changes in the environment and how these can help us to discover beauty, bring us together and make us feel alive. His products are intelligent, functional and simplified to their essentials Esa Vesmanen completed his master's degree in interior architecture and furniture design at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Helsinki and spent one year in Paris studying at the prestigious design school ENSCI Les Ateliers. Vesmanen’s work has been shown in exhibitions across Europe, in Japan and the USA. He has received numerous awards, for e.g. Interior Architect of the Year in 2008 by the Finnish Designers’ Association, Ornamo. For the Finnish manufacturer Saas Instruments he has designed the Tube pendant light.
