Marimekko Pieni Karhuemo Potholder

Marimekko Pieni Karhuemo oven mitt is easy to grip and soft. With the impressive Karhuemo (mother bear) pattern, the oven mitt is not only an irreplaceable support in the kitchen, but also a more stylish eye-catcher. 

 The pattern is based on a botanical sketch by Aino-Maija Metsola for the print Ruudut (Squares), a collaboration of four designers for Marimekko's Spring 2021 collection, the year of the company's 70th anniversary. To the flowers and leaves of the original sketch, Aino-Maija added a bear with its cub. The ground hums under the galloping mother bear, while the baby has stood on its hind legs to observe the land.
