Details

The simple VL45 Radiohus pendant by Louis Poulsen consists of three layers of mouth-blown glass. The innermost and outermost layers are made of transparent polished glass, while white glass is used for the middle layer. The fixture provides uniform, general and diffuse illumination. The opening at the bottom of the glass produces downwards directed light. The quality of the glas sensures that the fixture is evenly lit. The original Louis Poulsen Radiohus Pendant lamp was designed in the 1940s for the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen by the architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. The new version features the original design, updated to accommodate modern advances in light technology and energy efficiency. Because its simple Scandinavian design the VL45 Radiohus pendant fits in many different interiors.
