Ruut is a soft and beautiful linen-cotton washed towel (60% cotton and 40% European master linen) and can be used as a hand towel or kitchen towel. Ruut towel is woven using a jacquard technique. She The design is by Heini Riitahuhta and the pattern with the same hexagon shapes and also appears in her ceramic works. She was inspired by the life and growing up of her children. The Ruut pattern is like a cozy patchwork quilt or a blooming flower. It is intended to describe the further development of the children, the relationship between mother and daughter in a new phase of life, including hidden parts that are not really known. This product is made of linen and organic cotton. Flax is grown in Normandy, Europe and is 100% traceable from Masters of Linen long staple European linen yarn. All yarns are spun and dyed in Europe in accordance with the REACH regulation and meet the requirements of the ÖKO-TEX certificate.
