This series 8 chair was originally designed for the Danish National Bank. It is often referred to as the Lily. The first model was Lily without armrests from 1968, and the chair was introduced to the market with arms, model 3208, at the Danish Furniture Fair in 1970.
The Nordic chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen, is made from laminated sliced veneer and is the result of an extremely complicated moulding process that ensures the perfect curves and the best comfort.
The Lily chair from Skandinavian manufacturer Fritz Hansen is available in two versions: with or without arms. Both elegant versions come fully upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. Please contact us for fabricsamples. The shell and armrests are made of pressure moulded sliced veneer and the base comes with 4 legs made of 14 mm chromed steel tubes and leg ferrules of black synthetic material.
For environmental reasons all parts of the Lily can be dismantled. The Lily is tested according to EN 15373 for strength, durability and stability, for general contract use.
