Fritz Hansen Suspence 1.5 Pendant-Pale pearl

This Suspence pendant is a a well-preserved exhibit. The goal when designing the Suspence lamp with a simple look from Lightyears was to translate a movement into a physical form. Thus the shape of the lamp was created by pulling - a common movement involving physical force. This drag is visible at the top of the lamp. This means that the Suspence pendant light in Scandinavian design has organic shapes with a natural, soft curve. The infinity diffuser at the bottom of the lamp concentrates the light and eliminates glare. In addition, this contributes to an elegant optical illusion - hence the name infinity in the diffuser.
