This mobile storage unit belongs to String Works series and is available in three different variations. With String Works, Anna von Schewen and Designer Bjorn Dahlstrom, have built on Nisse Strinning's Skandinavian simplicity and ingenuity and created a series of furniture that can be used for at home, the kitchen or the study – for a flexible and contemporary work environment – and make your work place as pleasent as your livingroom with the same functionality. All modules from "String Works" and "String System" are compatible among each other.
The String shelving system is a Swedish design classic and extremely flexible. The modular shelving system consists of several shelf components, a sideboard, a glass display case and a magazine board. You can build up your own personally desired system and simply add an additional side panel and some shelves when more shelf space is needed. String is simple to assemble. Put together your own personal String shelving system with the assistance of the String configurator: String is a perfect combination of storage space and decorative object. It is light weight, yet stable and with its simple Scandinavian appeal it fits anywhere from bedroom to office. The minimalistic timeless look is the reason why String still attracts attention after 60 years. The original String shelving system was designed by Nisse Strinning as part of the String collection in 1949. String offers also a new version of the original shelving system - a Pocket String.
String system is available in various colours and material versions. Also different heights and depths can be ordered. The side walls are available in other colors on request.
