Iittala Aalto Vase Set

Iittala Aalto vase set consists of one vase with 16 cm and one with 9.5 cm. The Aalto Vase (also called Savoy Vase) is a symbol for timeless design and Finnish glass art. It belongs to the most famous glass objects in the world and is an absolute Scandinavian design classic. The Aalto vase was created for Iittala by the Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto in 1936 and was presented a year later at the Paris World Exhibition. The organic shape of the Aalto vase is very similar to Finnish lake landscapes and is still mouth-blown today. These timeless forms can be found again and again in Aalto's designer furniture.
