VP Globe pendant glass

The original VP Globe pendant is a transparent acrylic pendant lamp with reflectors of opal glass inside the lamp. VP Globe suspension lamp represents its best advantage in space by providing an ideal illumination for its environment. The light bulb in the middle of the airy bubble disperses diffused light for atmospheric lighting. The lamp in simple Scandinavian style looks as good over a dining table or in the kitchen as in a living room or in large entrance halls. Verner Panton designed the VP Globe pendant in 1969 and it still looks very modern, if not even futuristic today. The lamp reflects the style of 1960s and 1970s and emphasizes Verner Panton’s unique feeling for materials, colours and illumination combined with technical aspects. The VP Globe pendant lamp is available with a diameter of 40 cm or 50 cm. The lampshade consists of clear acrylic/plexiglas, within are reflectors of frosted glass. The VP Globe pendant is produced by Danish Verpan.
