Verpan Moon is a timeless pendant in simple Scandinavian style. The Moon is a spherical lamp with vertical lamellae, arranged like a fan for individual regulation of the light.
Verner Panton designed the Moon lamp in 1960 in cooperation with Louis Poulsen. Today it is produced by Verpan. The pendant lamp grows and decreases as well as the moon.
The growth and decrease is possible by the multiple rings that are placed flexibly around the central illuminant. The lamellae hide the illuminant and serve as reflectors at the same time, where soft light runs through, being spread all around the room. The room’s light is individually and easily adjusted in its intensity and effect by the flexible placing of the white metal lamellae.
