Danish design

Danish modernism is considered as the Danish design movement in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, where Danish architects and carpenters contributed a significant proportion to modern design history. Among the pioneers of Danish furniture design include Hans J. Wegner, Finn Juhl and Fritz Hansen. Danish design is characterized by minimalist wood furniture, high quality craftsmanship and Danish traditions. Even today the Danish furniture manufacturers and young designers focus on these Scandinavian design principles and produce at premium quality and carefully selected natural materials.
