December Ottoman XL is the matching piece for the December XL chair by Nikari. The December Ottoman XL is the result of a British-Japanese collaboration between furniture designers Jasper Morrison and Wataru Kumano. The original December chair was created as part of the Nikari '12 Designs for Nature' project, which consisted of developing a piece of wooden furniture for one month a year by a Finnish or international designer and supporting the WWF in part by selling it. Numerous international designers such as Alfredo Häberli, Louise Campbell, Harri Koskinen, Aamu Song and Johan Olin took part in the project. The December Ottoman XL version is in natural ash or natural oiled oak with a leather cover.
