Marimekko Silkkikuikka Cushion Cover 50x50 cm Blue/White

This Marimekko unbleached cotton cushion cover is printed with the Silkkikuikka pattern printed in Helsinki. It is a beautiful decorative pillow on the sofa or bed. The subtle Silkkikuikka pattern inspired by the movements of the Great Crested Grebe (Silkkikuikka) bird was designed by Maija Isola in 1961. There is a hidden zipper on one side and it measures 50x50 cm.

This fabric was printed with natural indigo, a vegetable dye obtained from Finnish woad. It is characteristic that the color softens naturally with washing, use and light. Please protect this product from direct sunlight and avoid contact with perfume, hairspray and other chemicals. The color may wear off.
