Marimekko Elokuun Varjot Potholder

This potholder made of a cotton-linen blend has a padded filling and a hanging loop. Maija Louekari was inspired by her own overgrown garden for the motif Elokuun varjot (August shadow) 2020. The designer is fascinated by the changing seasons of the north - the new beginnings and lush growth that follow year after year. This pattern is an ode to greenery, freedom and warm winds.
