Details

This unique chair "Ant" was created in 1952 by the Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. The manufacturing process was revolutionary for that time and the shape was quite extravagant. That is why this chair was not so popular in the beginning. And this often with products that are ahead of their time. In the meantime "The Ant" has become one of Fritz Hansen's classics. "The Ant" is a comfortable chair with a minimalist and graceful shape, made of wood using a layer-bonding process. The typical properties of the wood ensure sufficient elasticity to adapt to the contours and movements of the body. Today, Arne Jacobsen's Ant, with its timeless and Scandinavian design, is more popular than ever and is highly topical. Available, also in other variations. Felt gliders on request with extra charge This ant chair here is made of ash wood, colored. The legs are made of tube steel. A laquered version or natural wood veneers can be found separately in our online store. 6 CHAIRS FOR 5 UNTIL April 30th 2023
