Artek Kiki Bench 1-Seater

Kiki is an elegant and simple bench from Artek. The Kiki bench is also a very versatile, it offers several combination possibilities with other Kiki furniture. Tapiovaara created the Kiki collection in 1960 for Artek with the aim of designing affordable furniture for a broad consumer group. The Kiki bench does not comply with the earlier designs prefered by Tapiovaara of organic shapes, but is a typically Scandinavian clean and simple design. Instead of wood he used steel tubes for the Kiki bench. Artek introduced the Kiki bench in 2012 after about 52 years after its first launch. The bench was a huge success again because it corresponds to the current Zeitgeist and reflects the direction of the future furniture designs.
