This new, universal wooden bar chair "Atelier" by Artek was designed for the new restaurant of the National Museum in Stockholm, which is reminiscent of an artist's studio. Commissioned by the museum as part of an initiative to promote contemporary Nordic design, the Atelier bar chair is compact and lightweight. Its slender proportions and geometric lines create a fascinating aesthetic. Simple and direct, the Scandinavian-style bar stool has elegant details, such as the connecting bars that surround the front legs. The comfortable and versatile bar chair can be used for a desk, restaurant or café. Atelier bar stool was designed by Stockholm-based design studio TAF.
Available as a chair aswell. Both chair and stool are manufactured in Italy from local species of wood. This Artek Bar stool is available in different wood variants, colors and two heights.
