AJ Table Lamp

AJ table lamp is a Scandinavian design icon. AJ lamp was designed together with the Swan and Egg chairs by the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. AJ lamp has a simple Nordic look – minimalistic design and clean lines. The asymmetrical shape and tiltable head give the AJ its attractive appearance and unique style. To maximize the AJ’s functionality as a reading light, Jacobsen expanded the lamp shade that tilts up or down, guiding light to where it’s needed. The shade rotates 60 degrees to either side. AJ table lamp emits downward directed light. You can adjust the angle of the lamp shade in order to reach the required light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light. AJ is available also as a floor lamp.
